Autism and Parent Blame
An Association of Directors of Social Services (ADASS) report ‘Blamed Instead of Helped’ makes many important points, not least at page 12 – that autistic parents are three times more likely to be accused of FII than non-autistic parents – echoing 2023 research concerning (among much else) the severe discrimination at the heart of current practices.
